Fact – Hard Cider is the Fastest Growing segment in the brewing and spirits industry.

Fact – Washington State is the Apple Production Center of the Universe.

Fact – Just like Lodi CA for wine, Washington is for apples where there is peak volume growing production and there also is the best access to raw ingredients, brewing expertise, retail buyers, media attention, and end consumers.

Fact – Producers can’t currently meet the demand for quality hard cider and are selling out in days after brewing large batches

Wait time to market is much shorter with apples than with the wine industry or spirits and storage times are also much shorter.

Value per liter is on par with home brew beer though ingredients are cheaper

A successful hard cider business can bring in millions of dollars in a short ramp up time compared to other brewing businesses.

No end is in sight for this rapidly growing business as the market outstrips supply and demand continues to increase faster than production and faster than any other brew or spirits business.

Cider tasting tours are very appealing with cross over appeal to ladies and men and are often paired with beer tasting or spirits tasting. As with wine a properly administered brew tasting venue can sell everything they can produce annually from just thier own club members resulting from their tasting business.

The Proposal – I am looking for a hands on investor to assist with acquiring the remaining needed items through a mid sized cash investment. I prefer someone that would like to be in the business not just provide a high interest loan. I have built a group of limited partners that will lend their assets for a share of the brew until such time as we can buy all of our own high production equipment. I have a key piece of the puzzle with access to unlimited free #2 apples for squeezing. I also have a small but ambitious farm to grow the prized cultivars that are necessary to be mixed in with base juice.

At this point I have all of the following pieces of the puzzle in place:

*Access to Commercial apple presses and fermenting equipment for mid sized production capability through a limited partner
*Access to large scale fermenter and brewing equipment through another successful cider brewer as a limited partner (share brew deals)
*A family friend has committed to provide huge amounts of #2 apples for squeezing at no cost just bring trucks and we will be loaded by forklift (nearly unlimited high sugar base juice)
*New farm with hundreds of apple trees being grafted with the highest demand hard cider cultivars
*Personal friends and contacts with the largest liquor distribution networks in the US for wine beer and spirits
*Our family owns an online Wine tasting tour company with big market presence in NorCal wine country expanding into WA, and we know all of the winery owners and most of their marketing contacts
***Through a long time friend of my daughter, I have a commitment from a major nation wide high end food retailer to buy much of our first runs to get us into the marketplace and on the nation wide gourmet food shelves from the start.

I have been putting together all the segments that are needed to open a hard cider business and it is now time to begin preparing to get a building for pressing cider and brewing our first batches of hard cider.

Our initial investment needs include a steel building for a raw juice production facility, a truck to transport our free apples, and other business start up necessities. Most of my limited partners are in for simple share of production deals and will not require capital from us.

Email me for more info – If you are interested in discussing the opportunity send me an email with a good way to contact you for a brief discussion. I would leave my phone number but I get too many unwanted sales calls
